All products sold by American Peptide Labs are strictly for laboratory research and in-vitro use only. They are NOT for human or veterinary use, and are NOT intended for clinical, therapeutic or diagnostic applications.

1. Product purpose

American Peptide Labs supplies research-grade reference materials classified as Research Use Only (RUO). All products on this website are intended solely for non-clinical laboratory research. Products are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. They must not be used for any household or consumer purpose.

2. Prohibited uses

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in order cancellation and account termination:

  • Any use in or on humans or animals, by any route.
  • Use in clinical, therapeutic or diagnostic settings.
  • Compounding, repackaging, relabelling or resale as drugs, dietary supplements, foods or cosmetics.
  • Incorporation into foods, drugs, medical devices or cosmetics.
  • Performance-enhancement or aesthetic purposes.
  • Any consumer or agricultural application.
  • Educational demonstrations involving human or animal subjects.

3. Buyer representations

By purchasing from American Peptide Labs, you represent, warrant and agree that:

  • You are at least 21 years old and are a qualified researcher, or are acting on behalf of a research institution, conducting legitimate scientific research.
  • You will use all products exclusively for laboratory and in-vitro research in a controlled research environment.
  • You will not use, administer or supply any product for use in or on humans or animals.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the purchase, import, possession, handling, storage, use and disposal of research materials.
  • You will follow appropriate laboratory safety practices, including suitable personal protective equipment, ventilation and waste-disposal procedures.
  • You will not resell, redistribute or transfer products for any purpose other than legitimate laboratory research.
  • You understand that product information on this website is provided for identification and research reference only and is not medical advice or a recommendation for any human or animal use.

4. Regulatory statement

Statements on this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or by Colombia’s INVIMA. Products are not approved by any regulatory authority for human or veterinary use.

American Peptide Labs is not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy or outsourcing facility, and is not a pharmaceutical manufacturer, a distributor of finished drug products or a clinical supplier.

5. RUO classification

Within the RUO framework, products may be handled, stored, analyzed and used in laboratory settings for legitimate non-clinical research, such as in-vitro assays, analytical method development and compound characterization.

6. Certificates of Analysis (CoA)

A CoA for each product is available on request, and CoAs will be posted on each product page. CoAs are provided for research documentation only. A CoA is not a representation that a product is suitable, safe or approved for any human or animal use.

7. Assumption of risk

Research materials may present hazards if handled improperly. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you understand the potential risks of handling research-grade materials and assume all risk related to their purchase, handling, storage, use and disposal. American Peptide Labs is not liable for any injury, damage or loss resulting from the use or misuse of any product, to the extent permitted by law.

8. No instructions or usage guidance

American Peptide Labs does not provide instructions, protocols or guidance on the preparation, use or application of any product. Enquiries about human or animal use will not be answered and may result in account termination.

9. Third-party content

American Peptide Labs is not responsible for third-party content, including social media posts, reviews or blogs, which may be inaccurate or unlawful.
